Vairavapuliyankulam, Vavuniya. Since 2008.
An academy for peoplewho are going somewhere.
British Academy teaches English, test preparation, IT, accounting and languages, and guides students through the visa process for study abroad. 18 years in, the aim has not changed: give people in Northern Province the skills and the paperwork to go where they want to go.
We believe every student has unlimited potential for growth and personal development. Most of the people who walk up our stairs are preparing for something specific: a band score, an interview, a job that needs Tally, a move to Germany. So we teach for that outcome, in a format that fits around work and family, and we stay with you until the certificate is in your hand or the visa is in your passport.

How we teach.
The same four habits in every classroom, from spoken English to Tally.
Interactive, not lecture-only
Role plays, discussions and practical activities in every language course, so you use the language rather than only read about it.
Experienced instructors
Classes are led by teachers who have taught these exact exams and tools for years, and who give individual feedback rather than generic marks.
Practice before the real thing
Mock tests for IELTS and UKVI, mock interviews for Pre-CAS, real projects in design, video and accounting software.
A certificate for every course
Each programme ends with a certificate or diploma from the academy, and AAT students work within the international AAT framework.
The campus.
First floor at No 10, Vairavakovil Road. Two kinds of rooms, both built for attention.
Lecture halls
Audio-visual systems, centralised air conditioning and acoustic insulation, so every seat hears and sees the lesson clearly.
Classrooms
Smaller rooms for discussion-led courses and software training, with comfortable seating for long sessions.
